Key Insurance Coverages

  • General Liability Insurance: Covers third-party bodily injury, third-party property damage, reputational harm, advertising injury. Third-party is defined as anyone other than the insured (policy holder).

  • Contractors Equipment: Inland marine insurance covering owned/rented equipment and tools that are often moved from place to place.
  • Pollution Liability: Provides third-party coverage for bodily injury, property damage, defense, cleanup, and related defense costs as a result of pollution conditions (sudden/accidental or gradual) arising from contracting operations performed by or on behalf of the contractor. For example, a fuel spill.
  • Professional Liability: A type of liability coverage designed to protect professionals against liability incurred as a result of errors and omissions in performing their professional services. For example, a contractor places an antennae in the wrong area and a carrier loses money from incorrect placement.
  • Employment Practices Liability: A type of liability insurance covering wrongful acts arising from the employment process. The most frequent types of claims covered under such policies include: wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation. In addition, the policies cover claims from a variety of other types of inappropriate workplace conduct, including (but not limited to) employment-related: defamation, invasion of privacy, failure to promote, deprivation of a career opportunity, and negligent evaluation.
